«¡Agua va!» – Life in Medieval Vitoria-Gasteiz

As part of their Social Science studies, the students of 5th of primary visited the medieval centre of our city in order to learn about life and culture in the middle ages.

The visit placed special emphasis on the architectural elements of a medieval city and the students were particularly impressed by the sanitary facilities, or lack thereof, available to the residents in this period.

It was a fascinating insight into medieval life and into our city’s rich heritage and we thank our guides, the historians Itziar and Cristina for making our visit so accessible. It has been a pleasure.
